Rev36O co-founder Donna Sharp has been running an indoor cycling studio for years. And, like a lot of women in their fifties, she found herself facing the things that come with that stage of life, worrying about bone health, worrying about losing muscle, knowing she needed real strength training and not managing to do it consistently. When she discovered EMS, it changed how she trained. It also gave her an idea: if this had done so much for her in just 20 minutes a session, once or twice a week, what could it do for other people who felt the same way she had?

That idea became RevMethod, a new EMS coaching studio in Henrico, Virginia, built around helping people who've felt intimidated by a traditional gym or whose lives simply make consistency hard to maintain actually stick with strength training. Sharp launched her latest project in April 2026, but before RevMethod opened, Sharp had one major decision left to make: which suit to build the entire business around.

The Search

Choosing a suit wasn't just about specs. Sharp spoke with several EMS companies while researching what to build RevMethod on, comparing not just the technology but what it would actually be like to run a business alongside each of them.

TitanBody stood out for one reason in particular: how it felt to actually talk to a real person. In her own words, TitanBody was "head and shoulders above everybody" in communication and response. That wasn't a one-time impression. It was consistent, from the first conversation through onboarding and beyond.

There's a difference between a vendor relationship and a partnership, and it usually comes down to whether the people on the other end of the phone actually care about what they're building. Sharp noticed that the people she talked to at TitanBody were genuinely excited about their own product, not reciting talking points. That kind of authentic enthusiasm is hard to fake, and it's exactly why RevMethod chose to build its entire coaching model around TitanBody's suits.

Why the Coaching Model Matters

Buying a suit is not the same as knowing how to use one safely and effectively, and that gap is exactly why RevMethod builds coaching into everything it does.

The research on whole-body EMS is fairly direct about this. An international consensus guideline from a group of exercise scientists studying WB-EMS states plainly that the physical presence of a trainer during sessions is indispensable, not optional, because of the substantial metabolic and musculoskeletal demands that whole-body stimulation places on the body. That guideline exists in the first place because, in the technology's early years, several documented cases of serious adverse effects arose from poorly supervised, poorly dosed EMS use, which is part of why formal safety recommendations were first published in 2016 and have since been updated.

A separate systematic review of WB-EMS in non-athletic adults reached a similar conclusion: properly applied and supervised, the technology is a safe and reasonable option, particularly for people who can't or won't stick with conventional exercise programs. The qualifier "properly applied and supervised" is doing real work in that sentence. It's not a given; it's a condition.

There's also a broader pattern behind why coached programs tend to outperform those going it alone. A systematic review and meta-analysis comparing supervised and unsupervised exercise in older adults examined safety, adherence, and outcomes across the two approaches, underscoring that consistency and proper execution, not just access to equipment, determine whether someone sees results.

That's the case for an EMS concierge model like RevMethod's. It's not a suit sold at arm's length. It's a coach making sure the intensity, the progression, and the person's actual health history are accounted for before anything else happens, which is exactly the kind of oversight the research says matters most.

What That Partnership Looks Like Now

RevMethod puts every client through an identical 8-week launch program before anything is customized, treating EMS as the new stimulus it is for every body, regardless of fitness level. After that, coaching becomes fully personalized, with custom workouts loaded into an app so clients can train wherever they are, something Sharp specifically points to as one of the things she loves most about EMS: it doesn't ask people to rearrange their lives around it.

That flexibility is only possible because the underlying technology can handle it, and it's part of why the fit between RevMethod and TitanBody has worked as well as it has.

We're proud to be the suit behind what Sharp is building. If you want to learn more about RevMethod's approach to EMS coaching, you can visit revmethod.com or reach out directly at hello@revmethod.com.
